This site contains images of things I've been making for the past 12 years. I Don't really have any big statement, never was big on staements. I've always tried to make art in the moment, even the more elaborate planned out pieces. Some people have told me (other than the altered toy pieces I make) they can't figure out what I'm doing. I take that as a complement rather than a negative because I can't figure out what I'm doing either. Hope I can keep it that way. As anyone has worked with me knows, I win the award for being the worlds worst at documenting my art. I can safely say, I only have images of about 1/2 the things I've done from the 90's and early 00's. And many of the images I do have are really crappy. If anybody has any images of stuff I've done I would truly appreciate getting a copy. Having said that, I would like to thank my wonderful wife Evelyn for putting up with me doing art while trying to raise two kids and friends Melisa Schubeck (Joymore), Tom Torluemke & Linda Dorman (Uncle Freddy's Gallery), Paul Nudd, Miguel Cortez (Anntena), Catie Olson & Erik Brown (Spider Bug and Floor Length & Tux), Meg Duguid, Michel Thomas (Dogmatic), Marty Garcia (House of Payne and Chicago Arts), Dave Reninger, Bert Stabler and so many others in the Chicago art community for offering me the opportunity to show my work, collaborate and being supportive friends in general. But most of all my work is the result of my friendship with one Mr Michel F Bulka, who unfortunately doesn't live in Chicago anymore. We miss you Mike.
